Who We Are Now

Mile Away Events LLC is founded by a local non profit led by education enthusiasts. Our events serve to give back to the non profit and education community through upgrades for school facilities on site and fundraising. All proceeds go towards non profit education organizations in the Milford, NH area!

Where Charm Meets New Beginnings

Mile Away Events is proud to reopen a beloved Milford destination, transforming the historic Mile Away Restaurant into a stunning venue for weddings, private events, and community gatherings. We've kept the charm—now with a fresh vision for modern celebrations.

A Storied Past

For over 60 years, the Mile Away Restaurant welcomed guests with rustic farmhouse charm, garden views, and memorable meals. It was more than a restaurant—it was a place where milestones were celebrated and memories made. Before that it was a farmhouse and private resident, included a dairy farm and granite quarry! The farmhouse was built in 1746 and the barn was built in 1802. The barn houses the former restaurant and is now referred to as the Lodge!

A Fresh Vision

Now reimagined as an event venue during the summer and weekends, and a free K-12 public charter school during the weeks of the school year, the original post-and-beam architecture and scenic grounds remain, enhanced with updated amenities and flexible packages. From elegant weddings to intimate parties, Mile Away Events is built for unforgettable moments.
